At the start of April, as we all know the Google Algorythm changed. Meaning that Google now only support mobile optimesed websites!
Some think this is good and some dont. I think it's positive as so many changes are. Because it encourages the people with the old time websites, that still have a 10 year old site with the old prices to engage some good old person like myself to produce a new site for their business. Lol. It also means that more sites will be updated or renewed to allow for this change, which is amazing to be honest. It stiill astounds me as to how many of my customers, prospective clients and people in general that I speak to don't understand the value of their website. Seriously! Hello! It's the first thing people do. They look at your site before they call you or before they visit your premesis.
Man needs to do DIY on Saturday morning (This is currently happening as I speak and my other half is off out DIY shopping, oh dear. Don't you just love a bank holiday!)
Anyway so he searched online for the local DIY shops, found a site he liked, called the site from the linked number (All from a mobile BTW) and he's now at the shop buying stuff that we don't need, hopefully there'll be a treat in it for me though.... Hhmmmm.
So - get your site mobile friendly, update your services and pricing. 77% of Google search is done from a mobile or tablet device. If your site isn't optimised Google will basically give your competitor who has a mobile optimised site a naturally higher ranking.
