Following on from our previous post, you should now have the seeds of a plan generated for your social media accounts.
The next step is to impliment this!
Question: Do you target one member of your team with social media, or do you allocate one account to a different member of each team, or do you kind of allow a 'free for all?'
If you are going to manage the social media yourselves then I think it best to organise one member to do the updates and growing of the accounts. Allow the member of the team time to study, plan and impliment the social media model you have created accross your accounts. It's not just a case of allowing 5 minutes here and 5 minutes there. The team member needs to understand their audiences across the media accounts your company uses. Aworkshop would be ideal really and I would recommend using a program such as Hoot Suite to help with the management.
At the log in - any member can see what has gone out on the feeds and what is scheduled to go out, incase a team member leaves employment or is on holiday etc.
